Shireen AbuKhairan in the front yard of the home of Dr, & Mrs. Fahim Qubain in Lexington, VA on August 19, 2006. Shireen , 19 years old, is from The West Bank, Palestine. She like many others is a Hope Fund sponsored scholar that arrived in the US on August 13, 2006. She was awarded a full four-year scholarship by Bridgewater College. She starts classes as a freshman on August 22nd, and joins two other Hope Fund students already at Bridgewater on scholarships. |
